ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Over the years, the Department has offered academic degrees serving the business environment and earned by highly-skilled graduates. The programs offered such as Business Management and Marketing were two important majors that leveraged the variety of degrees offered by the College of Business Administration. With the growing number of graduates, the need for postgraduate studies paved the way for an MBA degree and has been revamped over the years to best suit the needs of working professionals.
Currently, the department offerings have increased in number and include other areas of interest for our prospective students and also our alumni. Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, and Human Resource Management constitute a variety of such offerings. The Department’s faculty includes expertise in all areas of Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Analytics. The department is also regarded as the largest department in terms of the number of students, faculty, programs, and alumni. Our alumni are well-positioned in high-ranked jobs and some are notable alumni in the fields of Banking, Public Relations and Communications, Marketing, Human Resources Management, and others in entrepreneurial entities.
The department’s outlook for the future is to offer new minors to better serve the job market with graduates of high knowledge, skills, and competencies in areas such as Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Sport Management, and others.

The Department’s faculty are experts in their fields with a focus on embedding technology into management and marketing teaching and research while providing a strong support to life outside of academia. Our faculty are also excellent resources for students along with a up to date coherent academic programs.
