Prof. Qaiser Munir joined the University of Bahrain as a Professor in the Department of Economics and Finance in 2021. Before this, Prof. Munir joined IBA Karachi as a Professor in the Department of Economics in 2018. He is a member of the Research Studies Evaluation and Review Committee, Ministry of Planning Development and Reform Pakistan. Before joining IBA, he was a faculty member associated with the University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) for 10 years. He completed his Ph.D. at UMS, Malaysia. He teaches courses related to Finance, financial economics, quantitative methods for finance, environment, and energy; public policy; Financial markets; International Capital markets; international finance; Financial Modeling; Financial mathematics; Introduction to business Finance; business forecasting; mathematics for business, economics and finance, business analytics, business statistics, cost-benefit analysis; economic forecasting, international trade, econometrics, microeconomics, and research methods. His research interests range from economics to finance, and he has more than 50 publications in renowned national and international impact factor journals. He has supervised the thesis and research work of dozens of undergraduate and graduate students. Another distinguishing factor about Dr. Munir is his thorough knowledge of learning management methods (such as the well-known model of Bloom's Taxonomy).
