Ms. Muna Ahmed Rashed Al-Romaihi is a Ph.D. candidate and Teaching and Research Assistant at the Department of Economics & Finance in the College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain. She was awarded the master’s degree in finance with first class honors. The thesis title is “Determinants of Nonperforming Loans in GCC: An Empirical Analysis”. In Addition, she is Certified Management Accountant and an Academic member of the Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business, IMA. Muna is also a professional member in ISACA, Bahrain chapter and a member in Data Science Association. Previously, she worked as an Audit Supervisor at National Audit Office in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Currently, she is teaching Macroeconomics and Microeconomics courses. Her research interests are in the areas of financial stability, systemic risk, credit risk, panel data econometric modelling.
