FACULTY BIO

Sara Al-Faihani is an Assistant Professor in Economics and Finance at the College of Business Administration of the University of Bahrain. Sara was awarded with Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom in 2020. The thesis title is Banking Competition, Market Structure and Financial Stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council Region. Her research interests are in the areas of competition, market structure, scale economies, banking, and financial stability.
