Biography


Dr. Sara Al-Faihani is the Head of the Islamic Banking Department and is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Bahrain. She was awarded with Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom in 2020. Dr. Al-Faihani's research contributions have been significant, with publications in banking competition, market structure, and financial stability in reputable journals. Her dedication and scholarly achievements were recognized with the prestigious Sharjah Award for Doctoral Dissertations in Administrative and Financial Sciences in the Arab World in 2023.
