Biography


Muhammad Zubair Mumtaz is an experienced researcher and academic. He is an Associate Professor of Finance at the College of Business Administration, University of Bahrain. He obtained his PhD from NUST Business School, Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interests include blue finance, artificial intelligence, fintech, and blockchain technology. With a background in public and private sectors, he has worked with organizations such as the Board of Investment, Privatization Commission, Ministry of Industries & Production, and Saudi Pak Industrial & Agricultural Investment Company. Prior to his current positions, he held roles at Quaid-e-Azam University, Bahria University, Foundation University, and the National University of Modern Languages. Dr. Mumtaz has authored eight book chapters and presented at various international conferences, including the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI). He has also been involved in projects with organizations like Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Asia, the Centre for Excellence for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and Research for Social Transformation and Advancement (RASTA).
