FACULTY BIO

Dr Yassin currently is a full time assistant professor of accounting at University of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain. He is also affiliated with Tanta University, Egypt. During and after doing his PhD in accounting at University of Essex, UK Dr Yassin worked (F/T and P/T) in many universities in UK such as Westminster University, University of Essex, University of East London, Queen Mary - University of London. His research interests include Management Accounting Change, Environmental Accounting, and Financial Accounting Reporting. He presented his research in a number of regional and international conferences. Dr Yassin published his research in peer reviewed international journal such as Int. J. Managerial and Financial Accounting, International Journal of Customer Relationship Marketing and Management, Journal of Accounting Research and Journal of Empirical Research in Accounting & Auditing: An International Journal. During this period, Dr Yassin is working on a number of emerging papers associated with his accounting interests (i.e., corporate governance, related party transactions, financial reporting and audit quality). These papers are single or co-authored projects submitted or to be submitted during 2021.
