FACULTY BIO

"Dr Mohamed Janahi joined UOB as a teaching and research assistant in Accounting in September 2013. Currently, he is an Assistant professor of Accounting. He holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Leeds University Business School and a PhD in Accounting from Warwick Business School. He is an affiliate of the European Association of Accounting (EAA). In teaching, Dr Mohamed has focused mainly on financial accounting courses. He taught Financial Accounting I, Financial Accounting II, Intermediate Accounting I and Audit I. His main research interests are bank accounting, financial reporting, and corporate governance. He published in Human Relations (Ranked among the best 50 journals in business by the Financial Times & ABS 4) and the European Journal of Finance (ABS 3). "
