FACULTY BIO

Dr. Mesfer is an Assistant Professor in Banking and Finance and the Head of Management and Marketing Department at the College of Business Administration. Dr. Mesfer completed his Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from the University of Salford, the UK in 2019. His research interests focus on the Profitability and Efficiency of Conventional and Islamic Banks as well as Firm Performance. He holds a Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting and Bachelor of Commerce in Banking, Finance and Risk Management from Griffith University, Australia. He has taught Financial Management, Financial Institutions and Markets, Commercial Banking, Risk Management and Insurance, and Financial Analysis and Credit Evaluation at the undergraduate level.
