FACULTY BIO

Dr. Hessa Al-Fadhel is an Assistant Professor in Accounting and the Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office at the College of Business Administration. Dr. Hessa Completed her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Southampton, UK in 2019. Her research interest focuses on the interplay between accounting, accountability, and governance, in addition to social and environmental reporting. Her work considers diverse empirical settings such as companies in developing economies, charities, and higher education institutions. She has taught principles of financial accounting and intermediate accounting at the undergraduate level. Dr. Hessa is also a member of the University Digital Learning & Innovation Advisory Committee.
