Dr. Ali Gaber Saleh

Assistant Professor

Dr. Ali Gaber is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting, College of Business Administration at the University of Bahrain. Dr. Ali has a long academic experience for over 17 years in teaching the accounting courses and in the coordination of accounting courses, he taught several accounting courses including cost accounting, advanced cost and management, financial accounting l, financial accounting ll, accounting information systems, intermediate accounting I, financial statements analysis, and accounting for petroleum and natural recourses. He holds his bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in cost accounting from Tanta University, Egypt. Further, he holds his Ph.D. degree from the University of Hull, UK, accounting information systems (Cost accounting minor). Dr. Ali is a co-author of accounting textbooks such as the book of design of accounting systems and the book of intermediate accounting. His applied research interests include managerial accounting system and performance, adopting of balanced scorecard, corporate governance, TQM practices, accounting disclosure for derivatives. He has special research interests in the quality assurance of accounting education.
